As 4-Stroke engines can run on regular unleaded petrol, there’s no need to mix oil and petrol. As a result, even at idle there’s no need to worry about unpleasant fumes that are common with inferior two-stroke engines.
On electric start models, the BF30’s Auto Start Enrichment automatically adjusts the air/fuel mixture for quick, easy starting and warm-up – just like fuel injection.

With a compact three-cylinder, three-carburettor design utilising one carburettor per cylinder, the BF30 is more responsive than competitive throttle bodies with long intake runners.
